From Christen Scott – Director of Student Recruitment:
Good Morning My Fellow Jacksonians,
For those who were unable to attend our October chapter meeting, please mark your calendars for Friday, October 28, 2011 as our 1st Official “Baby Tigers Day”.
“Baby Tigers Day” has a dual purpose, serving as a recruitment and community service event. Local chapter members will meet at various elementary schools to read books to our future Jacksonians; present our recruitment video; and demonstrate leadership and team building activities. Our goal is to increase the city’s knowledge of Our Dear Ol’ College Home and the elite Memphis Alumni Chapter of Jackson State University, while promoting the importance of going to college at all ages!
***Friday, October 28, 2011 at 1:00pm***
“Baby Tigers Day” will be held at John. P. Freeman Elementary School. This event will take place in their gymnasium. We will have a JSU Pep-Rally for all kindergarten through 2nd grade classes. So let’s “Show-Up and Show-Out” with our JSU shirts and Jeans on!!! See you there 🙂
Love JSU,
Christen Scott
