Denise Williams Greene

A proud product of The Orange Mound Community in Memphis, TN, Denise Williams Greene graduated with honors from Melrose High School where she served as captain of the Golden Wildcat Cheerleaders and voted “Most Popular” by her senior class. In 1987 Denise Graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Jackson State University. She was a member of the JSU Dance Ensemble and served as Vice President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Delta Pi Chapter. She continued her higher education at The University of Tennessee, Memphis and graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. After graduation, she served on The University of Tennessee’s Alumni Board of Directors. Denise serves on The University of Tennessee’s Physical Therapy Admissions Committee and The Physical Therapy Minority Council. Denise volunteers as the Physical Therapist for The Melrose High School Athletic Program. She is the Vice President of The Melrose High School Alumni Association, Memphis Chapter. Denise is a member of Brown Missionary Baptist Church and is the Special Projects Coordinator for the Media Ministry as well as a member of The Mass Choir. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. , Memphis Alumnae Chapter. Denise and her husband have two teenage sons.
